I just had a nice letter from Jo Bennett at Carrick District Council thanking us for our gig at the Tall Ships event. Their tin-rattlers raised £43 for us by the way - not bad what with free beer as well! |

We're in the Falmouth Packet! and there's a video. Falmouth Art Gallery did a great job of promoting the event so there are nice pics and a decent write-up. |

Big respect to all who played at Holifair! It wasn't that wet was it?! And big thanks to pass on from the organisers for keeping the show on the road and particularly to Lizzie for fantastic work with the children's workshops! We're re-booked for next year. |

We've made a grant application to Awards for All to enable us to buy more instruments so all our new members have something to play when they turn up to practise, and so we can get out and about in the local community and do more workshops. Fingers crossed!! |
